Terms of Service
These Terms of Use are intended to apply between Your Year in Spain (“we/us/our”) and our prospective clients (“you/your”). Your Year in Spain operates as a referral agency between homeowners and potential tenants; and provides referral services in relation to all other aspects of a temporary move to Spain.
1. Rental services
We provide information as to possible houses to rent for a fixed term. We do not own or manage, nor can we contract for, any temporary rental property referred to you. You and any potential homeowner must satisfy yourselves as to the suitability of any terms that you may negotiate between you – we will not be a party to any rental or other agreement between you and any homeowners. Any part of an agreement between you and a homeowner, including the quality, condition, safety or legality of the properties referred, the truth or accuracy of the description of the properties are solely your responsibility to verify; however we will use reasonable measures to ensure that the information and description of the houses are accurate and not misleading.
2. Other services
As part of our services, we can research, suggest or recommend any other aspect of your time in Spain, but your acceptance of any such recommendation or suggestions is done on the basis that you must satisfy yourself as to the applicability, cost and appropriateness of the recommendation.
3. No liability
To the extent permitted by law, Your Year in Spain excludes all liability in tort (including negligence), contract, strict liability or otherwise in relation to any loss or damage suffered by you in connection with the rental or other services provided by Your Year in Spain.
